Dare2Develop is NIBC’s mid-career program, and is by invitation only. In this program, approximately 25-30 participants focus on their personal and career development and work in groups on business cases. The program consists of a kick-off and different modules. Focusing on strategic skills such as presenting, influencing, consulting, negotiation and innovation skills, we support both the participants and NIBC in their strategic development.

At NIBC you are in the lead of your own development. This gives you the opportunity to determine the pace for your own growth and development. You are supported to have ongoing conversations with your manager and colleagues about how and where you can make a difference. Incorporate feedback and recognition from your colleagues in regular check-ins with your manager, so both of you have a fuller picture of the impact you really make. These ongoing conversations will bring you feedback and guidance for you to seize challenges to develop yourself even more.

Talent Program
NIBC’s Talent Program is a one-year talent development program which we offer to bachelor- and master graduates who start their first job. Together in a diverse and international group of peers, all participants follow a tailor-made program about personal development.

Online courses
We offer various (online) courses and trainings. These courses vary in different subjects, such as: Communication, Productivity, Personal Strengths, Languages and much more. Every employee of NIBC has access to these courses and trainings.

Personal development budget
We consider it important that employees continue to develop and remain employable in the labor market. It is our ambition to further expand the support and facilitation of the development and thus the employability of its employees. To this end, an Individual Development Budget is available, besides a department training budget.

Development conversations
We encourage you to have regular check-ins with your manager, so both of you have a fuller picture of the impact you really make. In this one on one with your manager you will e.g., discuss your further development and career progress. These ongoing conversations will bring you the feedback and the recognition you deserve in the moment. Setting you up for success to seize challenges for learning and growth that contribute to developing your future self.
