Nick Jue has been the Chief Executive Officer and Chair of the Managing Board since January 2025. He holds a degree in Business Administration from Erasmus University, Rotterdam.
With over three decades of experience at ING, Nick has held prominent roles in retail and corporate banking. His tenure included serving as CEO and Country Manager of ING Germany from 2017 to 2024, and as Chairman of the Executive Board of ING Retail Nederland since 2006.
Nick’s career began at KPN in 1990, followed by various leadership positions at Postbank, Nationale Nederlanden, and ING across multiple regions including Belgium and the Netherlands. His notable achievements include overseeing the successful merger of Postbank and ING Bank in 2007.
Throughout his career, Nick has been involved in numerous industry associations, including the Bundesverband Deutscher Banken (BdB), Frankfurt Main Finance (FMF) and the Dutch Banking Association (NVB).
